The Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego

The Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego opened its doors in the fall of 2007. The building is a historic one, built at the beginning of the past century. The Feldenkrais Method training room is cozy with lots of light. In addition to sponsoring professional Feldenkrais training programs and postgraduate seminars, the Hillcrest center offers weekly Feldenkrais Method classes, public workshops and a Community Functional Integration Clinic. Weekly Feldenkrais Method Awareness Through Movement Classes

Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) consists of verbally directed, gentle exercise lessons involving sophisticated movement sequences. The lessons directly engage our natural intelligence in a gentle and pleasurable way. ATM accesses the sensory motor processes of the brain and involves attention, perception, imagination and cognition. There are hundreds of lessons, addressing every joint and muscle group in the body and every human function.

Feldenkrais Method Public Workshops
The Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego offers monthly Awareness Through Movement® workshops for the public. Taught by experienced trainers and practitioners, these workshops offer an immersive Awareness Through Movement experience.
