In addition, we are proud to have put together a talented and experienced group of teachers with a wide range of interests and expertise.
Brattleboro, Vermont, is a lovely Southern Vermont town of about 12,000 people nestled between the Connecticut River to the east and the southern foothills of the Green Mountains to the west. Known for the
Vermont Jazz Center and the New England Center For Circus Arts, Brattleboro has an eclectic atmosphere while still being a quintessential New England town. The downtown is lively and has many restaurants and the area is full of natural beauty and opportunities for outdoor recreation. In a Vermont take on an exciting tradition from Pamplona, Brattleboro hosts an annual Strolling of the Heifers, a weekend event including an outdoor party and a parade of local cattle and local people through the downtown streets to promote local food consumption, and resilient communities.
Our training will be held in a beautiful, 140-year-old, Gothic church that has been repurposed as an event space and music venue.
The Stone Church, as it is known, has been renovated with modern comforts but it maintains much of its original beauty including the original English Gothic-style stained glass windows. With a newly installed and beautiful wood floor, the space is ideal for a Feldenkrais training program. The Stone Church is located right on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro within very easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the Brattleboro Amtrak station, b&bs and the Latchis Hotel.
