The New England ATM Training program

Elizabeth Beringer will be the educational director of this new ATM Teacher Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Elizabeth studied directly with Dr. Feldenkrais and has been involved with the training of teachers for more than three decades. She will be joined by Sheri Cohen and Joshua Wolk both highly experienced practitioners and assistant trainers who with Elizabeth will make up the core faculty and continuity team. In addition, we are proud to have put together a talented and experienced group of teachers with a wide range of interests and expertise. Come meet the Sheri Cohen at a public workshop on Zoom. Click here for more information.

Brattleboro is a lovely Southern Vermont town of about 12,000 people nestled between the Connecticut River to the east and the southern foothills of the Green Mountains to the west. Known for the Vermont Jazz Center and the New England Center For Circus Arts, Brattleboro has an eclectic atmosphere while still being a quintessential New England town.

Our training will be held in a beautiful, 140-year-old Gothic church that has been repurposed as an event space and music venue. The Stone Church, as it is known, has been renovated with modern comforts but it maintains much of its original character. Located right on Main Street in downtown Brattleboro, the church is within walking distance of restaurants, shops, the Brattleboro Amtrak station, b&bs and the Latchis Hotel.
