Northern California: Berkeley |
| From Finesse to Power: The Primacy of the Hands with Elizabeth Beringer |
| Location: |
Northern California: Berkeley |
| Status: |
Accepting New Students |
| Description: |
In daily life our hands and arms play a central role in most aspects
of our interactions with the world. Many of our actions begin with the
intention of touching, reaching for or moving something thus beginning with the arms and hands can provide a delicate and
detailed entrance into a variety of functional themes, including very
fine and sensitive actions and the transmission of power. I have
observed that many practitioners under-utilize working with the hands,
even though the hands are part of virtually every action. Attention will
be paid throughout the course to applications in practice and to the
participants own refinement in the areas of self-use and sensitivity.

| Location: |
Northern California: Berkeley |
| Status: |
Accepting New Students |

Jerry will present, analyze, and discuss a number of these FI videos
with Feldenkrais working with both adults and children. He will
